We have produced the 3.0L turbo kit for the Z4 3.0L. First mass produced 3.0L turbocharger kit in the world.

Problem was we needed a E46 3.30ci to come in and we will welcome a 3.30ci from Kuwait next month.

There will be two stages for the E46 3.30ci:

Stage 1 320 hp auto tranny- 350 hp manual tranny, the same as the Z4 3.0L

Stage 2 400 hp, with a lower compression ratio. We have a thicker MLS head gasket which will lower compression ratio and allow to boost 11,5 psi.

As soon as the 3.30ci arrives from Kuwait we will post pics and the project. It wont last long as the system is similar to the Z4 system.

Nowadays we are on the wild side. A M3 E36 Euro verison from France Paris is now at our shop. We are rebuilding the engine with forged pistons and rods and many details. Euro M3 engine will rev 8300 rpm and boost 32 psi. We will make 900 hp minimum and this will be a daily driven beast. There are many many details.

Hmm i HIGHLY doubt that also, but somewhere i read that 330's came with forged pistons and rods no? Or not all forged pistons and rods are strong enough to withstand that power, naturally like anything else theres always a next level up, Forged doesnt necessarily mean "unbreakable" :dunno: :thumbup:

We are sure the internals will last as we have tested 15 psi on the Z4 3.0L. Torque will kill the internals not horsepower. And at 15psi we did not have any failure.

Price will be 7000 USD.

Well how long did the car run on that boost?

We tested at 15 psi for 100 miles.

And only 1 full throttle is enough to kill the engine. You do not have to drive for 100000 miles and wait for an engine damage. It is the torque that kills the parts. And 1 single full throttle is sometimes enough to damage a part(s).

This is true, DA-MOTORSPORTS your kits are coming out soon right? I'm sick of waiting for ATP Turbo to release their sh!t, not to mention their lack of info and reliablilty is highly questionable. Especially since I don't recall many 330's every pushing 400whp. I honestly think that was a highly biased Dyno and they're holding out some parts they swapped with the internals. Can't trust those ATP turbo guys. :thumbdwn:

This thread was about the ATP kit supposedly producing over 400whp and probably over 400 lb torque to the wheels. That is why i said it wont work on stock internals. Im still sure it wont last on stock internals.

We have not received a E46 3.25ci or 3.30ci.

It is weird that we have turbocharged a couple of Z4s and Z3s. Meanwhile three Euro version M Roadtsers have been supercharged by us.

Unfortunately no E46 arrived yet.

I would like to repeat that a 3.30ci convertible from a foreign country will arrive soon. The 3.30ci will come on a tow truck and we will turbocharge it with the stage 2 kit. Lower compression ratio and higher boost pressure.

The E46 and Z4 turbocharger kits are almost identical, but the intercooler brackets and front bumpers are different and these two differeces cause different intercooler piping.

Will receive the 3.30ci and finish the project. Next week we will know for sure when the 3.30ci will come to us.
