Hey,

I have an AA Supercharger on order that provides a 5.5 boost. On e46psi.com i hear that people have close to 8psi on their supercharger systems.

Now, is there a way to raise it? Would it cause to much damage to the engine if I did raise it? And what would be the performance benefits of doing so?

Thankx :)

You would have to get a smaller pulley size. Everyone is running stock internals even with the 7.5 psi kit, so I don't think any damage would be done to your car. You would have to get the car re-tuned as far as I am concerned though when you bump up the boost.

You should see how you like the 5.5 psi kit first and then decide later if you want to upgrade

If you put a smaller pulley on your S/C for more boost without rempapping your ECU (to provide more fuel to keep the AFR in the proper range), I can almost guarantee you'll scorch your pistons...

Yo man, this is a brand new M3, take it easy, you need to crawl before you can run (Or walk) lol, start out with 5.5 and see how you like it, your jumping ahead of yourself!
