we could have a get together every weekend, for whoever can show. we just cruise around in the city, and do whatever it is the group decides to do.

what do you guys think? i'd like to start like next week http://forum.e46fanatics.com/images/smilies/bluehappy.gif

I live in Staten Island but i would definitly come to bk if u wanna start somethin there but there are a couple of big empty parking lots here like 5-10 minutes over the bridge that i think could work once a week.

the Roosevelt Field Mall meets have really great turnouts. Aside from that it does seem more difficult to meet in NY. Will there be any more Floyd Bennet Field meets? wasn't able to make the last one but those are always sweet from what I've heard

Do we have to inform Roosevelt Field Mall about the meets? Jones Beach is fun and has great space for a meet but there are always patrol cars and popo around.

no we don't have to inform them. i was thinking of meeting up and cruising around in manhattan on friday or saturday night(something different), what do you guys think?

Manhattan is cool, but the word "cruising" I could never use in reference to the city. It'd be more of a stop and go nightmare. There should be a huge Sears 4th of July Fireworks Show/Meet. that'd be awesome but not likely gonna happen.

I was at Roosevelt Field last summer and the meet went for several hours and no one had said anything, I guess it was just luck.

there shouldnt be much traffic in the night time, unless you guys don't wanna hang out late or something.

so i ask again, whos down? we'll all meet up midway in the most convenient spot for everyone.

it is true that there is less traffic in the city at night, but if you get off the west side highway, driving still blows at night. If you want something in manhattan, count on it being WSH/FDR or it'll turn into a mess on surface streets. Since I just finished (or nearly 95% finished) putting a pc in my car, I'd be down with a "meet" (where I can show off my toy  )
