NY/NJ/CT MEET IN Roosevelt Field Mall ON june 11,2005 @ 1pm

We will be at the macy's lot at 1pm for about 2hours then we will have a nice drive down jones beach highways to another lot where we will take pics and get to know other forum members/rides. This has always been a huge turn. This should be a good meet. After the meet we will all go out and eat with who ever wants to come.

From Brooklyn - Take Belt Parkway East, which will turn into the Southern State Parkway. Take the Southern State Parkway to Exit 22N Meadowbrook Parkway North. Take Exit M-2 West.

From New York City - Take Queens Midtown Tunnel to L.I.E. (495) Exit 38 to Northern State Parkway to Meadowbrook Parkway/Jones Beach. Take Exit M-2 West.

From Queens - Take Grand Central Parkway East (becomes Northern State Parkway) to Meadowbrook Parkway/Jones Beach. Take Exit M-2 West.

From Suffolk County -
From the Northern State Parkway westbound, exit at Exit 31A, Meadowbrook Parkway South. Exit Meadowbrook Parkway at Exit M2, at the "Shopping Mall" sign. Follow the off-ramp and you will see the mall.

From the Southern State Parkway westbound, Exit at 22 North, Meadowbrook Parkway North. Exit Meadowbrook Parkway at Exit M2, at the "Shopping Mall" sign. Follow the off-ramp and you will see the mall.

From Westchester\Bronx - Take Throgs Neck Bridge to Cross Island Parkway to Grand Central Parkway East (becomes Northern Parkway) to Meadowbrook Parkway/Jones Beach. Take Exit M-2 West.

coming from ct..it should either be 95s or 87s...get onto throgs neck / whitestone and after getting over the bridge, get onto cross island south, northern state pkwy east, meadowbrook pkwy south, exit M2 (i believe) look for the sign SHOPPING CENTER or something like that..

last meet i went to at roosevelt field was sunday, i never been to a meet on a saturday.. sunday is more common for meets i think? just look at the regional, even tho this is my first year with a e46 i think the summer brings in more meets.

guys i dunno if i'm coming, i might go to lime rock instead. it sounds real difficult to get there and it would be a long trip. how long is it from the bronx to the meet with traffic? i drove from manhattan to floyd bennett field and that took way too long, traffic was at a standstill for a few hours. i really don't feel like dealing with the bullsh!t traffic when i can just fly up to limerock in an hour, no tolls or slow people and watch the SCCA nationals.

There is no traffic going there at this time. Taking the gcp to the mBroke is about 20mins from Triboro bridge. So it's up to you. See the rest of you guys there. Should be a fun drive afterwards.
