i am so fed up right now, its rare that i have been this angry! i crashed (http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=236488) my 328i, and the shop got it february 25th. it is now june 9th! its been almost 3 and a half months, and they still have not finished! i know many parts were needed, but up until 3(yes, THREE) weeks ago, they have not TOUCHED the car! all they did was fix the bumper support, which requires no parts. me and my father had to go down there, and yell for them to get the parts. i went yesterday, the hood and bumper are on(and it is painted, the job is well done, don't get me wrong), they're missing just a few more parts(couple of pulleys), and they're telling me next week... again!

they keep making excuses about how the parts aren't delivered yet, or how the wrong part was delivered, so they have to re-order. i am also pissed off because they've been telling me "next week the car will be ready" for the past month! http://forum.e46fanatics.com/images/smilies/cursin.gif i'm gonna call today and tell them that if my car isn't done by wednesday, i'm pulling the car from the shop and i will give them the insurance check, and they will write me a check for the difference of what they couldn't finish, and i will take it somewhere else. again, these guys did a great job with the paint so far, and my father recommended for that reason, hes had experience with them, but this is RIDICUOLOUS!

so, what bmw certified body shops are there in the NY area? i don't wanna wait any longer, 3 and a half months is frickin' ridicuolous, i've seen rolled over, totalled ferrari's getting fixed in a few weeks, this is just a low end bmw! http://forum.e46fanatics.com/images/smilies/banghead.gifhttp://forum.e46fanatics.com/images/smilies/censored.gif

btw, the name of this body shop is "excel auto body", located in rockaway blvd and 83rd st, in rockaway, queens.

well when a german car needs parts it needs to be ordered directly from germany which could take awhile. back when my friend had his A4 he had to wait 2 month to just get an A/C pump in from just a little side swipe. i forgot what they told him but i believe they led him on as they are doing you, find out what parts you need and if you feel it's necessary then pull out
