also...
what kind of mod chip does it use?
is it a swap disc mod chip or is it a direct load mod chip?

How is the DVD drive working? I was happy with a modded ps2, but my dvd drive just stopped reading discs.

Could you post once you know the model #. Also, do you have a hd or network adapter with it?

There is a network adapter. The DVD Drive works great, in fact, I rarely use the PS2. I used it mostly for GT4 and NHL Hockey and didn't play them very much
