Hey guys you know we have modding problems over here, prices are high, few dealers and we cannot order easily from US/Europe etc..

Let's make it easier and show how everyone ordered his parts and what happened..

I already ordered:
- Philips Silvervisions from Powerbulbs (UK), paid by credit card, free shipping and received them on my desk within 5 days
- Revi MotorWerks M3 mirrors (group buy), my cousin in US paid by paypal, shipped them via USPS and received them at Emirates Post Office, customs opened the box and did not charge me the 5%
- AC Schnitzer Front and Rear Add-Ons from Germany, paid by bank transfer, shipped by air freight, received at Dubai cargo village, paid 5% customs, paid 200Dhs to clear them

Planning to install lowering springs and blacked-out kidney grill, any suggestions how to order these? Tire rack asking $155 shipping for springs :thumbdwn:

Please participate so we can find the right way to mod in the UAE!

make a mail box in the US... ship it to that address and from there they will ship it to you.

enjoy!

bro why dont you just buy springs from Dubai??
well that's what i'm doing now but they gonna get my springs as special order from germany..

i tried some places in dubai they just don't give you a word on what exact drop you would get, it's like you have to do your own research and go tell them: order X for me please! :hmm:

someone said i can cut your OEM springs to drop you 1 inch :loco:

anyways anybody knows where i can get blacked out kidney grill in dubai?
:dunno:

Its very easy to do it and there are lots of DIY on here. Its a little silly to buy black ones (which you won't find in Dubai anyway) or going to a shop to have it done.

Summary: You take the grills off, sand the paint off with sand paper (ACE Hardware :) ) and then put on Mat Black Paint also found at ACE.

good luck
