how much is it? and how long?
These schools generally run all day, from 8 or 9am until mid afternoon. The website lists the school fee as $60.

FAQ's - Questions and Answers about Street Survival™
Following are some answers to questions you may have about the program. If you do not see an anwer to a question you have, send your question to us at survive@streetsurvival.org
Question -How long do Street Survival™ events last?
Answer-The schools are held over a one-day schedule. Most start early in the morning and end late in the afternoon.
Question -What is the minimum and maximum age a student can be to participate in a Street Survival™ school?
Answer-Licensed drivers, ages 16 to 21 are allowed in the program.
Question -Do students have to drive a BMW?
Answer-No, absolutely not. We want students to participate in Street Survival™ using the car they normally drive so they will understand the response characteristics of their daily driver.
Question -Does the Street Survival™ school provide vehicles to use in the event?
Answer-Students need to arrive in their own vehicle, or the one that they most frequently drive on a daily basis.
Question -Do students wear helmets?
Answer-No helmets are required at the schools. All excersise are low-speed events and coaches are in the student's car at all times during these excersises.
Question -Can students share a vehicle?
Answer- If siblings are attending an event together, and the car they both drive on a daily basis is the same, most certainly.
Question -Will I receive a discount from my auto insurance provider upon completion of a school?
Answer-Many auto insurance companies do recognize Street Survival™ as an educational program that can count towards premium discounts. Check with your auto insurer to find out more information.

you can try an autox class with nybmwcca if you're over 21. it's worth it.
