Whatever it is, Racing Dynamics do produce headers that will produce 30+ hp will sofeware tuning. However, for right hand drive cars - they will take forever to produce! If ever at all! Paid them since feb this year. Still no news. Best of all, they do not tell you that it's only for left hand drive. So, beware - all commonwealth countries!!

We just had a GB on headers...it's still possible to get in on this price.

I would definitely NOT let a regular muffler shop install the headers, it's a pretty complex job that should be left to an experienced tech. Our headers are based on the Supersprint design, so the only real difference is the price and the option to have them ceramic coated.

What's the benefit of having them ceramic coated? :dunno:

External temps are reduced.... I believe that it will also prevent hot spots on the headers as well.....

this subject has been discussed a plethora of times.
Here's an old thread I posted awhile back that should give you some more information: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=218955 .
I would also recommend getting cats. Whatever kind it may be.
I've seen a variety of stock dyno figures for a stock 325Ci, and it has ranged from upper 150hp/upper 150tq, to as high as 165hp/lower 160tq (these are all whp figures, and the lower numbers were from a step I believe).
Considerig that in addition to the headers I have shark/cai/exhaust, the gains are considered to range from 16-28hp/10-20tq.
If you consider a 15% drivetrain loss, that makes it about 18.8-32.9hp/11.8-23.5tq gain towards the crank.

i alreaddy have straight pyping all the way back to my dinan muffler, meaning i have no kats in my car, how much do you think the performance of my car may increase by installyng headers.
other performance thinkgs i have in the care, are just dinan intake, and dinan software.

To my knowledge the cats are used to have cleaner exhaust gas and to prevent CEL light. If you can live with the CEL light on, then you don't need the cats.

The stock catalytic converters are in the exhaust headers. Odds are your cats are still in place and working fine. I would expect if you didn't have any you would be throwing a CEL.

You don't need cats, but it can be a hassle if you don't have them. You will likely have a CEL and will probably fail inspection if they do an emissions check.

Technik doesn't sell cats, but if you get hold of them, they can recommend aftermarket cats.
