The Oasis centre which is right next to the BMW dealership on Sheikh Zayed Road was caught in a big fire. There are rumors that Choithram, owners of the centre has set this up to get the insurance money (the same incident happened with Lamcy Plaza years ago), the police is investigating. Oh n btw the centre was in a renovation process.

I dont know where you got the information that Choitram's are the owners of Oasis Center, not true at all. Oasis Center is owned by Landmark Group, not to be mistaken with Landmark Properties. They also own Centerpoint in Mall of the Emirates including Splash, Home Center, Baby Shop, Shoe Mart, Lifestyle. In terms of wealth and company power they are 100 times bigger than Lal's and Choitrams.
