Hi I was wondering what plugs are you guys using?
I was going to go Denso IK22 but mechanics (friends) at a local reputable shop recommended that I stay away from them as I might run lean. The recommended me to get NGK's?
Can you guys shine some lights on this?
and why did you guys choose the plugs you have?:dunno:
Thanks in advance... :woot:

Many people on board including myself are running Denso IK22
I also think Samir(Technik) recommended them for FI use.
NGK makes great spark plugs too(BMW uses NGK)

Plugs is pretty basic technology...it's not like one brand has a major edge over another. Between Denso, NGK or Bosch, you can't go wrong with either...just make sure you are running 1 heat range cooler than stock.

If you go Denso (which we run on our kits, as does HKS and many other tuners), IK20 is the factory replacement plug...IK22 is one step colder. I'm not sure how the others have it, but you should ask to see a heat range chart, then find out which plug is the factory replacement...then pick the one which is one step colder.

This isn't true at all. If you pick the right heat range, then you won't have any issues.

Well, I had Plat +4 before I swapped it with denso ik22, and I think denso felt smoother. Might be just feeling. :eeps:

The gap between the ik20 and ik 22 is off by .12mm. which is rite the stock ik20 for 330ci's (.32mm) or ik22 (.44mm)
