the one that says two channel are 2 cables for a 2channel amp and the one that says 4 channel are 4 cables meant for a 4 channel amp. If your using a jl mono block i think they still need a 2 cables even though its 1 channel. Plus head units usually always have 2 pre-outs for the sub. As far as which ones to get that all depends on you. If you want to spend more money or less. The difference is better shielding and insulation, most people will never be able to tell the difference excpet on how they look. On a sub you'll probably notice less than on the other speakers. Better cables usually have better connectors and are less likely to get damged by bending and wont come loose. I have used the cheap ass ones that have a clear jacket and it sounded fine. If I were going full blown system I would get good cables, on a budget system I would get cheap ones.

Just my opinion,,,

Depend where the amp is going. If you run the RCAs along the middle of the car and the amp is mounted to the rear seat, you might barely make it with 10 ft (you would be pushing your luck though). You would be safer with 12 or, better yet, 15 ft.
