Alright To get some intrest in my products i have
CSL trunks for the E46 Coupe. They are made of Fiberglass thats Vacuum Formed.
I Will not make up some fancy term unlike another Company. They are made by whats called RTM. This means the Cloth is placed in the mold with no Resin.
The Air is pumped out and resin is injected at a High temp.
The Whole Product is then auto calved. What does this Mean?
Well its able to Maintain a 70-30 Resin/Fiber ratio Which is key.
The Trunks and Bumpers both Weigh about 11lbs.
They also Come with a Gel Coated Finish which allows for a Very easy Installation. A simple Wet sand-Primer-Base-Clear.
The Competition Sells these for over $1,000 Each for a High Quality Product
Another good thing about these Trunks is that The Holes are Predilled. Only the Emblem holes are hot Predrilled.
They do not need any Body Filler Simple because there are no waves. Waves are formed when there is too much resin that its still curing once its removed From the mold.
Yes like all CSL Trunks they take the 5 Series Tail Lights Because its molded directly from the OEM Trunk.
The bottom of the Trunk has all the Holes Pre Drilled so you can attach your carpet quickly you may need to buy some new clips since they are commonly damaged apon removal.
For Installation It should be left to the Pros. Any Hinged Body part IE a Door Trunk or hood needs some one with a good eye. If you have Installed body parts before then you can do it. It takes me about 150 min to get a Trunk Aligned correctly and about 30 min to hang a Door.
I also have the CSL Bumper Which is Dry Vacuum Formed.
It comes with Carbon Fiber Splitters Built in so you do not need to worry about Them Comming off. It comes with a Wire Mesh Grill but you can Change over to the OEM Grill if you wish
The Bumper comes with the Mounting bar and Reinforcement Built in no need to hack up your old Bumper
