Is it alright to run a turbo system with out a custom aftermarket intake minifold. I know that on the AA M3 supercharger, there one supplied in the kit.
If one is needed for the turbo apps, where is a place that could get something like that manufatured?
Thanks in advance
*I am a 2.5L still for the time being

DA Motorsport E46 turbocharger kits will come without an intake manifold at first. Later on, we will offer custom made intake manifolds for turbocharged and supercharged E46s.
Basically, the intake manifold's design changes where peak power and tq are made, and if the design is successful it will add power.
On stock E46 engines, we will benefit from custom intake manifolds mostly at stage 3 kits. Yes, stage 3 kits come with forged pistons and forged connecting rods and boost pressure is 22 psi. This means for 330ci that would make 500+ hp, a custom made intake manifold will be there.
BTW, stage 3 kits wont be available for at least a year as we want to start with stage 1 and stage 2 kits.
