I am probably going to swap from an auto to a manual tranny and just had one main question really: Does BMW use the GT1 computer to reset the ECU so it knows that it is a manual instead of an auto? The shop that is doing the work has the GT1 computer, I just want to know if I will still have to take it to the stealership or can they reprogram it? Thanks fellas

Also, I was on UUC's website looking at the Evo 3 SSK. With that kit, I do not need the DSSR do I?

I have not really looked too much further into the new blower, but a manual swap for me should give me another 10 or so hp  I also have my car for sale :D Its either sell it or get a manual tranny put in. John is looking to find a used tranny for me, but I think this **** is going to be too expensive. I dont feel like spending a boat load of money. Time will tell I guess
