I received to speeding tickets one in Peral River NY Rockland county 60 in a 45 mile per hour zone and one on the Palisade Parkway in NJ 70 in a 50 mile per zone. I want to fight both ticket's.

My question is does it make sense to get a lawyer to fight the ticket's and how much a does a lawyer normally change.

If I should get a lawyer can someone recommend one.

What chance do I have in only paying a fine with no points.

One ticket had the wrong license plate number.

My license from Ohio and I don't want my issurance company to get a hold on them.

Thanks in advance

Dunno if its more in the city.... but I got a lawyer for a 75/55 on the meadowbrook parkway. Costed 500 dollars plus the stupid fine I got in the end. No points on my ID though... well worth it. They tell you " I guarantee it gets dropped" They should just tell you " I know the judges personaly and all of this is to get more money out of your pockets" Now I got 2 village tickets to deal with. Dang country club cops gotta give out tickets to their neighbors. I was speeding so I deserved it... but I can complain like everyone else!
