Your car is an MS45. We will have software available withing the next 2 months. There is a service bulleting from BMW to help with the "dip" around 4000 rpm.

Aren't the MS45's the ZHPs? Jared doesn't have a ZHP. I need non-ZHP software for my '04 330 too.

All '03 on are MS45. We will have the software very soon. Just give us 1-2 months. We have already started with local members that are on the boards here.

You do. That is the engine type. The software type is referred to as MS45.

Hold on. I have a COUPE remember. Does the 2004+ coupes share the same software as the non-coupes? I've seen software out there for sedans (I think) but NEVER for any of the 2004+ COUPES. Please verify!

Isnt the problem the ECU and cracking the encryption on the module itself regardless of engine type, since the ECU differs by year.

Good thing is that once the softy comes out for ZHP, there should be a supercharger kit available!!! YAAAAAAY!

Actually, after reading a couple articles on it (I think the August issue of European Car is a good one to start with - not sure on the issue though, got it at Summerblaze) my understanding of it is that its just more crap. On the old ECU's the computer could only adapt so much,a dn didn't really have asuper powerful brain persay so it didn't have as much data to pull from (charts of ignition maps, a/f ratios etc.). With the MS45 ( a motorola if I'm not mistaken) system the computer is much more powerful. Because of this more data was programmed into it as well so that it would perform at ideal power levels in more conditions and operate smoothly etc.

I think I understand it correctly, but I'm not the expert on this one :dunno:

I can vouch that these guys have been working on the MS45 software pretty hardcore. As soon as its on I will make sure to write a very detailed review! I have faith, AA really knows what they are doing :thumbup:

BTW Omar, Braman STILL does'nt see anything on the service bulletin. You have anyone at South (or anywhere else for that matter) I can go see so that they can take care of it already??? Call me up man,

I Honestly , would like to see some sort of fianancing avaliable from AA, I bet if you guys could some how come up with it,, you will get a lot of business, including mine.
