Up for sale is my Sony VAIO GRX-570 Laptop w/ Many accessories.
I have had this laptop since the day it was purchased from the store for $2500 dollars. (Receipt available upon
request) It is in perfect working order and was hardly used. I am selling it because I don't have use for it anymore. The
screen, touchpad, speakers, keyboard, jogdial, are all in PERFECT working condition and order. It is also in
EXCELLENT cosmetic condition (less normal wear and tear on top), and has been well cared for. It has NEVER been
dropped, had anything spilt on it, or abused in any way. I have been the only owner of this laptop.
Specs on the laptop:
Intel 1.6GHZ Pentium 4 Processor Cache w/512 KB L2 Cache
16" UXGA Screen (1600x1200 resolution!)
512 MB DDR SDRam
40 GB Harddrive
ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 32MB Video Card
Internal 56K Modem
Onboard 100mbps LAN
Sony CD and DVD R/RW Burner
The laptop also features a Sony Memory Stick reader, an iLink Firewire (1394) port, 3 USB ports, a jogdial, an A/V out
port, mic IN, and audio out as well. It also has space for two PCMCIA extension cards for even more expandability.
I have also upgraded the CDRW drive to a DVD Burner Drive! (That was 400 dollars at the time of purchase), and
purchased an 802.11b Low Profile wireless card that is installed in the PCMCIA slot so you have wireless internet
access too!
The laptop will also come with THREE factory batteries so you can keep it going on the road. All 3 batteries included
are functional and still provide plenty of battery life.
I also have a docking station, for it which has :
A port for power, 2 usb ports, a serial and parallel port, S video out, composite audio in, composite audio and video
out, LAN, Monitor output, and a PS2 port. The laptop snaps right into it with ease and makes connecting it to other
devices easy.
The screen alone is worth over $400 new.
Port Replicator worth over $150 new. (I paid 199 or 250 for it).
Each battery is at least 150 dollars new as (and it's coming with 3 (2 extras))
The DVD Burner drive is over $300 new.
The Wireless LAN card was over $100 new.
That's 300(DVD burner)+2 extra batteries(300)+ port replicator (200) + Wireless card (100) = OVER $900 in accessories
alone, not even including the price of the laptop! Of course the laptop also comes with the original AC adaptor it came with in perfect working order.
The laptop itself came with Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (Sticker and KEY still on the bottom of the laptop)
I upgraded it to Windows XP Professional Edition and have also installed Microsoft Office Professional Enterprise
edition 2003 which comes with Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Infopath, Powerpoint, and Publisher. The laptop has
all available windows updates and security fixes/patches already installed by me, including Windows XP Service Pack 2.
All of the correct drivers and utilities have been installed from Sony- the jog dial, power management system, and
short cut keys are all fully functional.
It has been a great laptop. I will definitely miss the screen and the powerful processor. My loss is your gain. Please
