I see you are in hawaii.
We ship by fedex, and to hawaii they dont offer ground, only an expensive air shipment option. We charge you exactly what fedex charges us.
If you would like to have this sent unregistered air mail, we can do this on low valued items such as this. Just send me a PM if you are interested.
Thanks

The best buy near us has a "Generic" dash bracket that screws into the dash, which is kinda scary considering if you ever remove it then you have visible screwholes in the dash. :thumbdwn:
Our mounts all attach behind trim for the perfect placement and never leave a trace once removed.

Is the cell phone holder that comes in the package different from the cellphone holder on the website? I just got my dash mount, the bracket is great, but the cell phone holder doesn't have the slide on design as advertised on the site? All it has are two holes in the back. :dunno:

Sorry about the $10 shipping, but you will have it pretty fast. We charge exactly what we are charged from Fedex. you can put some more items in the order, and it will only increase the cost by a couple dollars if at all.

Got mine yesterday.
How the heck does the clip mount to the bracket? The nut only screws a few threads. I really don't get it; I wasted a bunch of time and got nowhere. The directions only show the mounting to dash/trim. Wouldn't the washers need to hit the back plate of the phone holder? Otherwise it it's loose and not much use. Please shed some light.

I fed the bolt through the front and then used the nut on the back. You have to really turn hard but it will go in.

make sure you push DOWNWARDS on the bracket as you tighten the nut. This will fix the problem you are having.

They are lock nuts, they take a lot of force from the screwdriver to make them attach. This will hold it in place for a long time to come.

I have an idea. Have you thought of producing a mount that goes on the otherside of the radio closer to the steering column for a V1 Remote Display?

do you want a pic of just the mount or a pic of the mount with a couple devices on it?
We have not specifically consiedered making a mount for this alternate location as suggested, however i will keep it in mind if there is other interest. Thre isnt a lot of room there (limiting its use for other applications), and radar detectors are prohibited in so many states that i dont know if there is much of a market for this

Radar detectors are legal in most of the US.

Never heard of it scratching a phone before. Something that jumps to mind, are felt pads with an adhesive backing. We use them here for a spacer on the GPS mount. I think they are actually for putting on chair legs or something, we buy it by the sheet. It may be a bit abraisive for this purpose, but i am sure if this exists, something a little more deilacate would be available.
let me know how that works out

My ipod doesn't fit with the rubbers either which doesn't really matter.
I got my dash trim to sit flush. I just used a hammer and a piece of wood with a towel on the end. i gently tapped the metal to conform better to the surface. There was a slight gap which was preventing my dash trim from sitting flush. Now everything is great :)

You may be able to mount the phone holder on its side and put the PSP in there,?!?!? but it is definately too wide to go in the phone or PDA holder.

I dont know how big this phone is but the phone holder adjusts to fit phones between 1 1/2" to 2 5/8", ideal for most mobile phones / MP3 players on the market today. Our PDA holder fits PDAs and Smart/PDA phones/BlackBerry 2.75" to 3.25" wide, with adjustable thickness.

Sorry for the thread revival, but I found this thread VERY useful, but still not quite useful enough.
I would like to mount my H10 iRiver and/or my Treo 600. (They are essentially the same size.)
The dimensions of the H10 iRiver are:
Height: 4"
Width: 2 3/8"
Depth: 3/4"
The dimensions of the Treo 600 are:
H: 4 1/4"
W: 2 1/8"
D: 3/4"
Which holders should I order?
Also, we have yet to see the dual-holder apparatus which may be perfect for me.
Any advice?
Chris? Ian?
Thanks!
