Ok so last night im leaving my g/f's house and i pull out and dirve the car like normal. Maybe a little harder. 1st then quickly to second ( way before redline ) and then, engine light, eml light throw - i loose gear in second - rpm's drop to 1000 and start bouncing. So i quickly pull over and shut off the car, and wait five min. Start it back up - engine light and eml light sill on but the car drives. Take it home ( 5 min ) and stay under 3000 rpms the whole way. However, if i go up to about 3500 - 4000 rpms's the car kind of bogs again and looses power. Ahhhh im so scared. I think it may be the transmission :( .... I was already going to order my new clutch this week but i hope i dont have to get a new tranny. I just picked up a code reader this morning, the car is staying in the garage by the way. Im going to see if any codes come up. But what could this be.

Check the reducer hose right before the throttle body. See if it popped off.

Ahh thank you so much guys!!! I just poped the hood and checked the throttle body hose and it had popped off. I hope that does the trick. Ill put a new clamp on it and hope it seals up :) . Thank you so much gentlemen, i would be lost without you guys. ! . !

Not really big issues. Big issues means the compressor exploded and sending vanes in all directions in the engine bay, cutting fluild hoses and such.
Check the hose coming out of the compressor instead. That's the place where you will experience the highest charged air temperature and pressure (up to 115C and 14.7 psig as logged by me before). If that's ok, check all the clamps and hoses downstream.
Take some time to go through all my track reports. I have documented this before. Nothing to panic about really. :) I am guessing you will get P0172, P0175 and maybe P1500.
My relentless advice for folks who have a SC system is to get under the car/hood every week or other week. You should always double-check the hose clamps.
If anything, PM me.
EDIT: ah you found it. My advice is still valid. Spend sometime look through every clamp. All it takes is 20mins or so.

Thank you so much Mr.Paddle Shift... Yea its cold in the garage this morning so i didnt fix anythin yet. Later this afternoon i am going to throw on a sweatshirt, gget my 5 lights out and just track my install making sure everything is how its suppose to be. If that clamp popped off i dont see why others couldn't so im going to check everything. And when i run the reader im getting FAIL. I turn the car off, stick it in the OBD, turn it to position 2 ( no accessory) and click read and it comes back FAIL.... Ugg electronics, haha.

Hey no problem. Depending on your driving style, check the clamps every other week or month. I am guilty of neglecting the clamps before.
I think I should document a list of items that need to be checked regularly and replaced after a few years of owning a SC.
What kind of reader do you have?

Mr. PaddleShift,
It would be very helpful if you put together a checklist of sorts. I know personally as a newbie to the "charged" scene - it would prove very useful.
Just my opinion

Just to assure everyone, my ASA kit from Technik is holding up strong and have had no other problems. If you are looking to boost, there is no other substitute then Technik. This hose problem i had was in no way linked to supercharger issues, rather personal error. :)

This issue affects all the kits (Infinitas, Technik, ESS, etc) that use that reducer at the throttle body, there is just no good way to get it to fasten on to that small amount of metal. I used hair spray on the inside of the hose, a smaller clamp, and it has worked great ever since.

I actually laced mine with alittle silicone before clamping it down. No issue at all.

Actually I mentioned some of the parts in my track blogs already. There is a also a ASA private forum where I post some information here and there.
What setup are you running?
