How can I determine by myself what the "check engine" light is on for? Is there a OBD II Diagnostic kit I can buy? If so, where and what kind would be preferred? Thanks

Just a generic tool from PepBoys or Kragen will do. In fact even with a laptop that has terminal application will do.
If you're gadget savvy, there are few out in the market that have logging and such.

I'm also looking for an OBD tool. How is this for one? I'm no expert in any means when it comes to this. I'd like to purchace a good, easy to read tool to see what causes the 'check engine light' to come on. I found this one on eBay, it apparantly connects into the laptop. Anyone heard of, or used this?
