So i still have a boost leak! WHen i go over 2500 its just this load whinning sound and i dont get the studdered sound anymore from my diverter when i shift around 5000 - 6000 . I even changed my diverter but cant find the leak. Where are hot spots for leaks? O and also my EML light comes on.... What can that be from and what exactly does EML explain??? Mr.Paddle SHift i expect a dull diagnostistic from you. haha

I thought you found the problem?
Definitely check the P-codes again. Did you check EVERY clamp like I said last time? Yes, even the ones after the outlet of the compressor. There is a coupler that holds two hoses together and a few clamps there. Check that. Very prone to leak.
Also, I would recommend NOT driving the car. Find the problem. Fix it for good.

Check the hose connected directly beneath the compressor. That one is out of site and can easily be missed.
Also look over all the hoses going down to the intercooler and back up. Not only for loose clamps but something could have rubbed a hole in it.

Well the throttle body was off so i fixed that and then drove the car round the block n it was still whistling. Since then the car has been in the garage, i dont drive it. I need to learn to use my reader and get the codes. What does it mean with EML.

Before I start losing another 23 brain cells...
I did mention checking every hose clamp. If you haven't, I don't know what else to tell you. Alan and I both mentioned the very same spot as well.
EML is explained in your car manual. Takes 5 minutes to find it. The car has detected a faulty electronic control system. If you can't tell me what are the P-codes, I don't know what the EML is illuminated for.

it could be your by pass valve,it could be that.my car had the same problem, everytime the EML came on i would pull over and turn the car off, wait and start again.it would fix it only to come back later.the problem was i had a huge blow off valve.we took it iff and put a by pass in.the computer was sensing much air and faulting.do you have headers?

No i know, i need to check all the valves. I was just wondering what EML really stood for. Thank You. I am going to pull everything apart this weekend and re-do all connections... Is there anything else there could be other then a boost leak. Ill pull the codes but from experience what else can make a high pitched sound with a loss of power.. Thanks bud
And i already replaced my diverter to a brand new one ( the stock one that comes with the kit from Technik )

If you got EML it's probably a loose outlet or throttle body hose. You won't usually get an EML light if it's a small leak, say if one of the smaller hoses popped off.
I had a hole in my oulet hose the size of quarter and never got a SES or EML light, but the car did stutter, run rich and lost about 2lbs of boost because of the hole.

Engine Managment Light?its the best i can do!like i said before my eml light came on before when my blow off valve was too big.it was sensing too much air.we took it off and put a by pass instead.did you just recently install something new?
