Gday all,

Hi my name is Jon and im new to these forums and just here to suss it all out and gather some info on the world of bmw's. Atm im driving a 00 Honda s2000 and looking to purcahse a bmw 320ci or 323ci coupe in the near future. I love modifying the cars i own and i take the occasional trip to wakefield park for some tracking.
One of my main concerns of buying the bimmer would be reliability and maintainence. As my s2000 is quite reliable and can be driven quite hard. Hope to hear some of ur responses.

Cheers

Jon

Welcome Jon

With my coupe it hasn't had many major problems, just make sure that is always serviced in the correct intervals and there should be any major problems

Gday Jon
Welcome to the forums!

I havn't had any problems as such with my coupe. The only thing I find is that front brake discs and pads tend to wear quite quickly but it is not an expensive deal to replace.

I would recommend you get a 325ci as opposed to a 323ci. Both use basically the same engine (2.5 liter) but the 323ci is 'tuned' down and was only made till end of 2000. With some looking around you can get quite a good deal on a 325ci. If you really looking for some power (apart form the M3 of course :) ) and you have some extra dollars then a 330ci is the go.

Hope that helps mate.
