Does the tensioner pulley next to the supercharger pulley need to rotate...Or does the tensioner stay still holding the pulley tight down....I am curious because supercharging car and don't know if the tensioner shoul dbe rotating or not...When car started sounded perfect, but the belt started to BURN...HELP ASAP!

tensioner pulley should rotate.

If your talking about idler pulley , the pulley itself rotates , but the idler pulley stays still with a limited movement .
Now if your smelling rubber , then the Unibelt is rubbing against something .
The best way to find out where it is rubbing against is , take a white chalk and rub it on the side of the belt about half an inch and then start the car and look and see if you can trace it on the side of the S/C bracket casue I have a feeling its probably rubbing against he bracket .

Just curious , which S/C kit , and what was the problem ?
