Advise on System #2

We have a '94 e36 convertible which the significant other drives daily. The speakers have finally called it quits and wanted to get the system spec'd out ASAP. So far I have decided on:

headunit: Alpine CDA-9856 W/Ipod kit and Sirius
Speakers: Diamond Audio S600s or JL XR-650CS (front components)
Amp: undecided
Sub: undecided

She listens to pretty much everything under the sun (rap-rock-oldies-country-etc..) Any changes or additions to the system would be a great help.

Update: Purchased a set of Diamond Audio S600s and the Alpine CDA-9856 w/ipod and sirius.

Questions I still have are; the DA S600 can handle 20-170watts, what is a good amp to power these components. If I picked up a set of 4" for the rear would it be ok for the deck to power these?

What is a good sub/amp combo for a convertible that will not take up the remainder of the trunk?

Working on picking up the wiring/installation kits/etc...

What Amp did you end up purchasing to power the DA s600? Also, what rear speakers did you go with?
