Putting in 2 JL10"s and a JL 500/1 amp

in couple days.

only throwing the subs/amp in so i'll be using a Peripheral Vendetta II line-level converter for the signal.

Question is: will i need to disconnect the HK subs? or if not, is it suggested to disconnect them? any help will be appreciated.

Crossed over correctly, the stock subs might have some good mid-bass.
