Its the one on the right. I don't think too many of us will want to fit this beast into our trunks. It is 14" deep.:thumbdwn:

But it does have a 54" one way XMax. That's over 4" peak-to-peak. And it handles about 3kw. I think it costs ~$650 direct from RE.

I loved the old XXX. Although it requires a deep box compared to "normal" subs, it could fit in a tiny box. Now your box has to be at least 15" deep when you figure wood thickness. I'm kind of disappointed in this design for that reason alone.

The only way that I can think of fitting this sub in my car is to mount the sub sideways and have a plexi front so you can see the sub from the side. But I question how much more SPL and SQ this sub has over the older model.

I'll just horde the XBL2 version for now.
