View Full Version : Straßentech Roof Spoiler Special Order

Hi everyone,
We've been a little quiet the last few weeks getting ready for BimmerFest. We had a recent special order of a Straßentech roof spoiler with 100% of the carbon fiber exposed. As some of you may know, unlike most of the knockoffs, Straßentech products are made 100% of carbon fiber and reinforced with carbon Kevlar. Then they are covered with a white gel coat to strategically expose the unique carbon fiber to achieve the look the designers felt was the most esthetically pleasing.
The look below is stunning and is available as a special order thru Bimmer Performance Store. Please call us at 805.482.1234 or e-mail us at sales@bimmerperformancestore.com. We'll be a bit busy for the next couple of weeks, but we'll get back to you ASAP.
Thanks very much,
Bob DeLellis, President

^The back window of an M3 coupe is the same as an non-M coupe. ;)
If you are trying to gauge the interest in this item posting the price would be very helpful.

It has been said that coupe and sedan fitmets are different. Especially when it comes to the roof. Ex: ACS rear roof spoilers. I may be incorrect and I'm not challenging your statement but I just want some clarity. I know Strassentech only makes M products and I know most M are coupe's (or 2dr) so that being said I would expect there to be some difference in body style. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I don't own a M (obviously) so I don't know.

Hi guys,
The Straßentech roof and trunk spoilers are compatible with ALL E46 coupes (no sedans or verts). The lip spoiler will only work on an M3 bumper.
The prices on the roof spoiler is $795 and the trunk spoiler is $995. We offer 10% off one item or 15% off 2 or more. The special order for ALL carbon fiber is $200 on the roof spoiler. We haven't had anyone ask for an ALL-CF trunk spoiler. The roof spoiler comes ready to install with no prepping or clear coating required, so reduce the addtional cost by what your body shop would charge to prep and paint and the addtional special order cost is probably just about offset.
See everyone at BimmerFest. My car has a painted verson of the roof spoiler on it.
Thanks for the interest in this very exclusive product.

We can get this for you. BTW, as I posted before, when you get it with the fully exposed CF, you don't have to pay for any preping OR painting. The local body we used charged $350 to prep/paint my Straßentech lip and roof spoiler. So, potentially, the actual cost of the special order option might be as little as $25 to $75 (depending on what your body shop would charge to paint).
We're bugging out of here for BimmerFest, but you can call us on Monday to place an order at 805.482.1234. You can also send me an e-mail at sales@bimmerperformancestore.com (best option) or PM me (2nd best since we also sponsor at M3forum, BimmerForums & BimmerFest)

Hi guys,
You could, but it would be a waste of money to pay extra for the fully exposed CF and then paint it. Unlike many replicas, ALL Straßentech products are 100% carbon fiber and reinforced with carbon kevlar (as opposed to fiberglass). Then there is a white gel coat applied that must be preped and painted. The ONLY reason I would recommend getting the full CF and painting it is if you want a different paint scheme than the standard Straßentech roof spoiler. In other words, if you wanted to expose more than standard, but not all the carbon fiber.
Thanks again for all the interest.

YOU ARE CORRECT, SIR!!!
The fenders and bumper are different on the M cars. The roof and trunk is the same, the Straßentech roof and trunk spoilers as well as any other aero products we sell for the M coupe will work on a 330 or 325 coupe.

I'm taking my camera to BimmerFest and I'll see if I can take some good pics of any cars with Straßentech trunk spoilers (with the owner's permission, of course). I'll be a bit busy in our booth, but I'll see if I can get this done for you. Personally, I have the Vorsteiner V-CSL bootlid with the Strass lip and roof spoilers. I really like this combo.

Bob,
I have the Strassentech trunk spoiler on my 323ci. Fits perfectly and looks killer. Quick question... the CF tip piece was stolen from the spoiler, could I get that piece from you? I've been looking everywhere and can't find anyone who just has that piece alone, or who would just sell that piece only and not the whole $1200 spoiler. Unfortuantly, I can't make it to BF but I wrote your # down. I posted a link which has a pic of the spoiler. I'll PM you.
