I was having some strange FM reception problem today. If the ignition was in the "off" position I could get all my stations as normal. However, as soon as I turned the car on, I would lose some stations that are weak to begin with. After getting the radio out of the dash and toying with it a bit, I decieded to try and switch the 2 antenae plugs and its working fine. Now heres the thing. Im am the 2nd ownder of the car and the previous owner had the radio out to install an ipod adapter and aux input. I have no idea if they even plugged the antenaes back in correctly to begin with. So can someone please tell me which plug goes where and if inverting them Is this gonna damage anything?
Thanks!!

Not sure about the 2 antennas in the radio. All the ones I have seen are different connectors, so you wouldn't be able to easily swap them.
Something else to look at is the antenna amplifier connection (behind the driver's side C pillar). The antenna is etched on the rear window. The defogger could cause problems if you have a loose/bad connection.

Yeah, I dont know what happened. After swapping the 2 connectors if works fine. I just wanted to make sure this wouldnt cause any porblems. Its been over 24 hours now and nothing caught on fire or drained the battery so I guess it will be ok.
