Pics below. 2373-M3U less than 6 months old.

14.1" SXGA+ 1400x1050 (NO dead pixels)
1.8ghz Dothan Centrino
1.5gb RAM
60gb 7200RPM HD
ATI 9600 64mb
CD-RW/DVD-ROM
Windows XP Pro
Bluetooth
Intel 2200 B/G
Fingerprint Reader
3 year warranty
6 cell battery (4.5-5hrs battery life)

I haven't been using it as a laptop (it's been sitting on my desk for the last month or so) and I'm thinking about selling it to pick up a desktop (no trades). The laptop itself is in great condition...the screen is a little smudged, but that'll clean up great.

Comparable T43 (with some lesser specs) will run you over $2k

I've got a T43, bump for a killer machine, you can't go wrong with a thinkpad especially a T series model.

Great machine....we use them here at work......IBM laptops are the best around, except for Alienware and Asus.

Alienware is a rip off ....

asus makes hardware // motherboards and their laptops are no big deal

That model I linked to above is discontinued, so:

Comparable T43 (with some lesser specs) will run you almost $1900

Here's the closest I found:

http://www-131.ibm.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=4611686018425018886&storeId=10000001&langId=-1&categoryId=2049168&dualCurrId=1000073&catalogId=-840

And that's more than $1580 new. That doesn't include the extra gig I put into it ($100+ upgrade).

http://www.californiacomputer.com/Shop/product.asp?catalog_name=CaliforniaComputer&category_name=&product_id=2373M1U

$1579 - they give free shipping if you call them

i bought an extra GB of ram too - you can get it from them OEM IBM ram for $60

so $1630-1650 as a new laptop ... and the warranty starts the day they buy it

so if you're trying ot sell it for $1500 it won't happen

I bought a T43 1.86Ghz w/ 1.5G ram and all the same spec there for only $1299 + Tax shipped from OSU purchase program.

You might consider lower your price.
