Technik SK1 air filter maintenance?

Sorry if this is a naive question.

An installer put my Technik SK1 kit on my 2003 330i.

Is there a recommended air filter maintenance interval or procedure? What is the procedure for getting to the air filter? Thanks.

I clean mine every oil change so about every 5000miles.
It is a K&N filter so recommended is i THINK every 15000miles or so.
Pretty easy to do, just buy the cleaner and the oil and pop off your front tire and go in thru the wheel well is easiest vs taking off the bumper.
Also depends on how dusty and environment you drive in too, more dusty, clean it more offen.

Remove front bumper, or just remove the inner wheel well plastic shield, then you'll access the filter easily. You can clean the filter using K&N filter cleaner.
