Hey guys.... Ok so ive had the car up on ramps for a few days now cause i wanted to just check on the flange on the oil pan like normal and then i changed the oil/filter and all the good stuff... So today i finish up and i get the car off the ramps and i start it up and like always it idels a little high at first and then after about 3 min and give it a lil gas you know just to get the engine going and then all of a sudden the rpms start bogging up and down .. so i shut off the car, popo the hood and check everything and everything is good to go... i sit back in the car and start it again... Now its ideling around 1500 and my vac pressure is at like 10 and wont release to 0 ... So i shut it off again .. wait 5 min .. and then start it again... still ideling high so i try to give it a lil gas and the rpms go up like normal and then start to come down and then just start bogging... Honestly i have no ****ing clue what it could be .. All i did was change the oil, the filter and re-clamped the oil line to the flange on the oil pan.... PLease someone help :(

my vac pressure is at like 10 and wont release to 0
10 what? mmHg? Also why would you want it "release" to zero at idle?
1. check if CEL is on. Check code.
2. check if EML is on. Check code.
Two things:
A. Maybe a blown hose with a loose clamp somewhere.
B. ICV malfunctioning, thus high idling.

Yeah **** im stupid.. The vac is suppose to be there when i car is on lol .. But i dont get the high ideling... I start it up and it goes to like 1500 and just sits there and then either 1 of 2 things happen:
1) i let it sit and in about 3 min the rpms by themselves start rising and i kill the ignition
2) i try to gentle give it some gas and then the needle just keeps rising
UGGG what is wrong with it :( .. All i did was drain the oil...Put new oil in...Chaneg the oil filter and then i opened the power steering chamber to see the level and color and it was fine :(

That really sounds like an idle control valve...... but to fail after an oil change.... that makes no sense.:dunno:
