Wantagh Park 4.0 Date/Time FEELER

Last weekend was a lot of fun and a whole bunch of people have asked when we're doing it again, so this time I'm askin you guys what day and time works best for most people.

Right now I'm thinking Sunday, August 13th (early afternoon) would be a good time so that people in town for HIN the day before can come out before heading home sunday or something. I think fewer people have to work sundays as well. Im open for suggestions though...the weekend after that, a different day, a different time, etc. just throw out some ideas.

Again planning to hang out at the park for awhile, drive down to Jones beach, grab some food.

Well if people didnt first show up 2 hours AFTER the posted start time, we would have everyone and could head out in a timely fashion, hence Im asking if a different time of day works better for people.

what exactly do u guys do at a meet? isnt sitting at a park really boring. and when you go for a drive, where do u go?

What do we do? Meet new people, catch up with those you havent seen in awhile, check out new cars, new mods, etc. From Wantagh Park we drive down to Jones Beach and have a little fun on ocean pkwy. Open for suggestions for other places to cruise as well. The point of this thread is for yall to tell us what YOU want to do/see.

Eating down at the beach is annoying because you have to pay to park anywhere down there, and theres too many people. There are plenty of places back up by the park though, which is only 5 minutes up the pkwy from the beach. Marisa lives right there, maybe she can make a suggestion.

I didn't **** my car up when I was drunk, I was pulling out of a parking space after dinner with my girl and i scrapped it on a friggin curb....it was one of the worst sounds EVER!!!

there are a bunch of places we can go to eat.. theres many diners around, restaurants on sunrise highway, fast food places etc. we can even set up a little bbq type thing and get everyone to bring different stuff like hamburgers and hot dogs to the park cuz theres bbqs there..then if we do that, we can take a drive and do pics afterwards.:thumbup:

almost lose my car if i got caught doing the 130mph at the drive. lolllll
i was doing that when you were taking the pictures of the cars and to pass you i was doing 130mph because you were doing 115 to 120mph.....
found out that if you get caught doing twice the speed limit or more they will take your ride away...

i can't tell the cop the devil made me do it i will say ashley made me do it lollll
you would not get a ticket you just have to smile at the cop and give him your cell number to go on a date with him.... thats what all of the pretty girls to....they got prettier legs than i do lolllllll

Looks like Aug 13th is a good day...do you guys want to try to put together a bbq or plan to just hit up a resturaunt afterwards? Depending on the food situation, there will be a set time that we will depart for the beach this time around so that everyone shows up around the same time and half of the people dont leave before the beach.
