Guys,
I am looking to get the angel eyes and I have read several thread about Predator Chroniums, Titanium Edition DDE some others from ebay. I hear that some of them are the closest to the OEM, others are brighter, some are thicker/thinner or whatever. Can anyone actually post some pictures so one can see how the car looks with the particular set on. Unless of course there is no difference and they all look the same. Thanks, in advance.

whatever you decide i'd buy from one of the site sponsors...at least then you know you're buying from a somewhat reputable business if something goes wrong.

not here to say the e-bay lights SUCK but they are missing parts that other kits contain.
1. 98% of the time they donot include the wire harness.
2. the rings from e-bay if you look at them really are designed for the Lowbeams on the X5. they arent a perfect fit on the e46.
3. i would honestly go with the Chromium kits. best light output great fit and if something DOES happen they have a lifetime warranty and you will have replacement parts in 2-3 days.
i recomend
www.umnitza.com and www.Jlevisw.com or www.modbargains.com for the place to buy your chromium kit.

Mine were prewired, fit perfect, and I hooked them up in about a half hour with no problems. Guess I was lucky. Not coming down on sponsor products...I'm sure they are great...but not all ebay sellers are selling the same DDEs. Some are quite a bit different than others. They are not eBay brand, lol.

i've been contemplating the same thing on what kits to buy. i have read many times that they are all practically the same thing.
i wanted to get the chromiums too but after seeing a few threads and a few pics, they all pretty much almost look identical. people will tell you a lot of things.
in the end, all the aftermarket ones come from taiwan or china. get something that fits your budget.
I, myself will end up getting mine from ebay. ive seen many with the wiring harness and clips to attach the halos.
people tell you that when you order from ebay that your getting bad quality, that you might not get a wiring harness, all you have to do is actually read the description and it tells you if it comes with one or not.
ive seen many sellers that sell them and have nearly perfect feedback.
many people on the forum have bought on ebay and have been more then satisfied.

no they are NOT LED. they are CCFL which is a flourcent light tube running the full length of the ring. makes for even light dispersial. you can wire them in many diffrent ways to make them go on or off as you please.

Mine are hooked up to my foglight switch since I don't have fogs anymore. The secondary trigger is hooked up to my interior lights so they turn on when I disarm my car and fade out when I arm. totally sick

finally someone who makes sense,
thanks.. john is it?
and for the record eff ebay, don't go cheap man, you have a bimmer, take care of it damn....
i made a mistake of buying something i thought to be a good deal off of ebay (blackout grills)... first off, the plastic looked completely diff. than the stuff i saw in the pictures... second, fitment was completely off, they were a complete waste of $50, and now i wish i had just gone with a sponsor...
from experience, just stick with a reputable company here (ie modbargains, jlevi, umnitza, etc) and they will take care of you as another fanatic would
do the right thing. i believe in you.

Somethings are good some are crap off of ebay, The angel eyes I bought because I know the seller, I also got my projector lamps, tail lights off of him. The grills on Ebay are terrible, Umnitza has some great products, There pojector lamps for e39 with the cromunium angel eyes built in are a great deal and look great my cousin has them!

DEPO lights are DEPO lights, no matter who you get them from IMO

That's correct, if you just buy the DEPO lights. Our Projector46's use a DEPO core but we take out the internals and replace them with our own Predator series angel eyes and preinstalled HID kits. As a result, we offer a full lifetime warranty based on our confidence in the quality and durability of the components we replace :)
