Just picked up an 05 M3, I want to put in the Phosphyre Halos (Angel Eyes)
Do they come with a switch? How do you turn them on???

Also how do I get the daytime running lights off?>

For DRL's go to the dealership, the Halos should come with a wiring harness that allows you to connect to your ECU, or to your interior lights.

Do a search and you can learn more.

If you order our angel eyes, they will be wired so they fade on when you unlock the car with you factory key fob. They will stay on whenever the car is on and fade off when you lock the car with your factory key fob.

We have a guide on our site to install a kill switch so that you can turn it off whenever you like.

Can the angel eyes be used as DRL's? So when you turn the switch to position 2 (the one after 'off') looks like this: >0< they will come on...?

position 2 is when all the electricals such as low beam lighting is on...if it's wired so that it taps power from the ecu, then yes, it will be on from ignition position 2 and on...like jlevi said, if you follow their guide provided in their kit, that's how it will be wired...it's not too hard to put in a custom kill switch either...but you'll need to have some basic electrical knowledge to wire it all up. g'luck! :hi:

I was talking about the headlight switch in position 2 not the ignition key. I want to know if when the headlight switch is on the parking light only setting (not the low beam on setting) will the angel eyes light up, without the headlights being on. like as if they were drl's. i know that they will come on when the low beams are on.

i just installed mine with the remote kit. Mine are on all the time, but you can install a switch. They will light up when the ignition key is on "on."

Gotcha. I just wish I didn't have to install a whole other switch just to turn them off. seems like a pain. it would be cool to be able to just turn them on with them headlight switch in the parking light position...and then of course with the low beams. but then again, if they were wired to the parking lights they would blink... unless there is another light to tap when in this position....

Just buy a pair and install it, I'm sure you'll be satisfied.

i wired mine to my side lights...took out the side light bulbs so when i turn the light switch to 1, they come on ...simple... :) not sure if the driving law over there is the same as here though..

you can wire them to your fog lights...so that everytime you press the fog lights witch, your angel eyes will come on...and since low beams are controlled by fog light switch (if your fogs are on, your low beams have to be on too), it all works out well? :)

Given the design of the Predator Chromium, you can do pretty much anything you wish and with the new DIY on our web site, we also guarantee it will be easier than ever:)

this also means if you turn on your brights they go off. But who'd see them with your brights on:huh:

Do you have to remove the front bumper to get the headlights out?

Nope, they unclip from the front. Our install guide covers the whole deal :)

you can wire the chromiums in any way you want really.

the most prefered method is right to the ECU si when the car is on or key is pos #2 they are on (like DRLS)

to the OP the dealer will have to shut your DRLs off. bright it to the dealer you bought the car from and they SHOULD do it for free. if they dont then make sure they dont charge you more than $40 to do it.
