Hey all...
I am pondering what to do to my 330ci when i get rid of my other car. I was just wondering a few things as far as superchargers go as i only know the honda world when it comes to this. What are some good, reliable superchargers for the 330ci. I have seen AA and ESS... just wondering about others. The other question is how well do these work with an automatic transmission?? My goal is to add some power to my daily driver while still keeping it reliable. I have a turbocharged honda civic and there is so much crap done that it is to the point that it doesnt get driven daily and i dont want that to happen with the BMW. Also... any good places to pick up a SC for a decent price either new or used??
Thanks for the help...

At the moment the AA and ESS twin screw s/c are not out yet. The only kit right now that is ultra reliable and mostly ran on this board is the technik asa kit. There is one person who tracks his car every week or at least every month and has no issues and puts the car through extreme driving. If you really want a s/c soon then that is the way to go. If you want to wait like some of us are for the twin screw, then this should be coming out soon. My money is on AA as they have a high reputation for quality and reliability. ESS is also good, but my preference is AA.

Hey Dude. I have an 04' 330 CI Steptronic (Automatic) with an ESS TX2 Supercharger kit. I think its exactly what you are describing that your looking for. Mine is a daily driver (70 miles/day). No issues. Had a misfire once, but that was a long time ago.

only reason why i did not put AA is b/c i heard they have issues with the belt....for some reason the belt needs to be replaced due to failure. I think they fixed this issue but I didn't look more into it. If you go to www.e46psi.com or do a search here there are some highlights talking about it.
If you are going to go that route and not the twin screw route then I would suggest the technik kit...but that is going off my preference not saying it is better, just the track record I see is cleaner and from what I see locally.

I would look at VF-Engineerings' supercharger kit.
