hey fanatics. i was planning on transplanting a 330 motor in my 323ci and was wondering if a 323 sk1 kit fit on a 330?

will i feel a big difference?

is this transplant really expensive/hard to do? $$ wise?

should i just put headers and upgrade my pulley to the 9.5lb instead of the motor swap?

I would strongly advise against boosting more than 8.5-9PSI on any M52TU/M54 engine as long term testing here at ESS (with ASA, TS and Vortech) shows significant engine wear and in cases of lower fuel quality even broken piston ring seats under extreme driving. My recommendation is to stay at 8-8.5PSI if you want close to OEM longevity on stock internals. On the M52TUB28 I strongly advise against anything over 8PSI as this engine has particular problems with piston ring seats under high cylinder pressures due to a weaker piston material than the M54 325/330's. The 323 has the same piston material as the 328, but due to the shorter stroke the problem does not present itself here until you go above 9-9,5PSI.

so what can make my car go faster with the stock sk1 pulley???

whats the fastest 1/4 mile time for a 323ci to get?
