HEY THANKS FOR THE REPLY....I THINK ITS JUST A SPRAYER THAT WILL COOL DOWN THE INTERCOOLER...WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?

I was wondering that too, at first I thought that, but they call it an intercooler kit in itself that cools the incoming air. If its just a spray over an intercooler then its absolutely fine. CO2 expansion gets cold enough to make dry ice so it would certainly cool an intercooler off.

It's totally an external spray onto the intercooler. Good piece of kit, but really only useful for drag racing.

Mine is waiting to get installed along with the No2 engine kit. Basically it allows you to spray nos on to your intercooler to achieve > 100% efficiency of the intake air because it will enter the motor cooler than ambient air.

Yeah thats what it looks like to me.... my question is if you are only using it to cool the intercooler.... why use No2 when I would think Co2 would be way cheaper?

^ You can.

From what I've read on various different forums (and different cars), if this system is set up incorrectly, the nitrous will get sucked up by the intake. When the nitrous is sucked up that's when you'll really see a gain on the dyno (duh), the danger of course is you don't know how much is being ingested into the intake. Unmeasured nitrous in engine = bad. Also conversely if you have a CO2 set up and it's also incorrectly done then you'll see a reduction of power on the dyno.

Just some random knowledge I picked up from the web. Seems as long as the system is set up properly then you'll have no problems (like all things FI).

I was debating getting such a system myself, but I realized that I have no real need. I don't drag race and when it's hot as Hell outside and the car could benefit from it, I wouldn't be out driving like a bat out of Hell anyway. :dunno:

Now a 50 shot of nitrous (via a wet kit) now THAT's something I'd like to see more supercharge non-M's running. ;)

There is nothing for the internals to handle, no nitrous is being injected into the engine with an "N-tercooler." :)
