upgrade and add speakers

hey im jordan i have a 2001 330i non h/k but i do know that the H/K has 6X9s mounted under the rear shelf what im wondering is if the non H/K is wired for those 6X9. cause i would like the 6X9 but i know there are better speakers then the H/K out there

those 6x9s are 'subs'.

you can do a whole lot better in the sub department.

just get some aftermarket ****.

i dont want alot of bass and i still wanta use my trunk

Get JL stealthboxes (attaches to the rear shelf...fits a pair of 8 or 10 inch subs)

with the JLs do i need more amps or can i replace the stock amp with a bigger one and still hook it up to the stock speakers too

to answer your question: The non HK is not wired to use the subs.

JL stealthboxes are a good compliment to a stock system.
