I am sure it is a public-traded company, isn't it?? Are they only traded in Europe??

It's BMWG but its only traded in the EU

It's BAMXF traded on OTC market. :D

I hope that works for you buddy. I wouldn't bother though. Invest in something that's gonna make you some money$$$.

Powerdrift is right too, but you need to get the right exchange. (i.e. BMWG.F = Frankfurt and BMWG.H = Hamburg)

Actually I looked into investing in BMW when I bought my M3 a few years ago. I figured if you love the product then why not? But my broker said that (at least stateside) BMW is not available as an individual stock, but rather is grouped with several other German companies like power and I think maybe even Philips.

Not sure if their stock would be doing too well right now either, people don't buy as many $40K+ cars when they're afraid they might get laid off...
