Full lap on the Nurburgring in a CSL - Hi Def 1280x720

Hi All

Finally managed to get my hi def (1280x720) video of a full lap in the CSL. This was shot on the driver training when you could use the main straight to continue on - I only managed 160 though :confused:

Not the fastest lap in the world, and the fuchsrohre was coned off due to a major oil spill so had to take it very slowly, but its fun nonetheless :D

Its a 200MB Divx file, so only the very keen need download :P

This was on the BMW Driver Training Course (http://www.fahrerlehrgang.info/) where the circuit was closed to the public, full laps available, and cameras allowed :craig:

Not very fast - but part of the circuit was coned off, and knowing parts of the circuit aren't fully dried out does tend to slow you down. That's my excuse :rofl:

I think this is just over 9 minutes full lap - the record in a std CSL is 7.50.

Last week I drove with a guy from the M5board (Cemisis I think) and he did it in 9'15". I drove like 50 laps. It was one hell of a ride.

I wouldn't have thought you did this lap in 9'. Must have been more...

Yip I know Cemisis (Scott) he's a good driver. This video is from a closed session when you can do full laps, Scott's 9.15 is a BTG (bridge to gantry). You take away 27 secs from my full lap time to calculate an equivalent BTG, but the Fuchsrohre was coned off which lost me quite a few seconds as well :banghead:
