OOOH great! i will be placing in an order most likely tomorrow! i was looking for a cheap price on brake packages and the cheapest that i thought was around were the stoptech stage2 kit on modbargains (which is out of my budget) i have a lot of questions on brakes, is there someone that can really help me figure out what i exactly need for brakes. i'm pretty new when it comes to different types of brakes. thanks!

plus, what should a ballpark figure be for a shop to install the brake kit?

Sounds Good:thumbsup: Any questions at all let us know..I am available on AIM @ NAmotorwerks to all hours of the night! as well as toll free 866-350-6095.

You are probably looking at 3-4 hours of labor for this job tops depending on extra's etc.

Hope this helps:bow:

I'm not actually making a purchase here but dealt with Tom a couple months back and all I can say is he and the crew are GREAT. I screwed up on my order and they went out of their way (and pocket) to help me out. Props to you guys and best of luck in '07!! I will definitely look you up for my next pad (or rotor) purchase.

sweet.. you will def. get an order from me after the new years :)

EDIT : i just did a quick prce check.. wondering, the total at the end is that for a full complete set ?? or just a pair of rotors ??

My total was at $434.45 i chose the Zimmerman crossed drilled and the Axxis Ceramic.. is this a total for all 4 rotors/pads and the brake fluid (1.50 extra) ?? or is this just for 2 rotors ?? and the 50$ standard shipping is for one package correct ?? sorry for all the noob questions.. thanks..

question:

is it recommended to flush out the brake fluid when i change the rotors and pads? if not ... then how much will it be without the fluid? and how come it costs extra to get rotors? (im not being frugal.. just curious)....??

I would follow..BMW routine maintenance sched. but we always recommend this w/ a brake job due to having all the parts off the car to do the job i.e pads/rotors/sensors/clips etc.... We sell that as a package or you can order what you want a la carte .. www.namotorwerks.com

sweet....so these are direct replacement from stock pads and rotors correct?

sorry for too many questions... because my friend replaced his brakes with brembo blanks and pbr pads and for some reason it started making clinking noise, i'm just worried it might happen to me too. as long as it fits like OEM then i guess it'll be fine.

All it takes is for something to get some dirt..in between the pads or something to make noise..Brembo blanks are OEM replacements..so the quality is as good as stock. Usually PBR Pads especially the Deluxes are virtually noise and dust free.. hope this helps..:excited:
