Iam selling a basically brand new MacBook. Purchased from Short Pump Apple store in Richmond Virginia. Have all reciepts. This MacBook is WHITE.
Comes with the three year apple protection plan.
Comes with Mac:Office ALREADY INSTALLED.
I bought this thinking I would use it, but I have hardly used it, would rather have the money. Only thing "wrong" is that the scroll pad is slightly discolored, why they made a white one I have no idea, HOWEVER, this is covered under the AppleCare and can be replaced free of charge.
I paid 1099.00 for the macbook, plus 100.00 for Mac:Office, plus 250.00 for the apple protection plan.
Im asking 1000.00 OBO. Pictures upon request!!
Mine is the "basic" model.

Yessir, its the "lower" model. I wanted it to perform basic functions, and honestly it did WAY more than that, Im just too attatched to my PC

You make it sound so worthless / cheap.
The other white macbook is only 170mhz faster.
BTW, how much shipped to CA?

Haha, I didn't mean it that way, it works great and is very fast, I just didn't want people thinking it was one that had upgraded features as opposed to the "basic" macbook. Even the basic macbook is still excellent!
I am taking offers of 1000.00 including shipping. I don't know an exact amount for shipping, so I am offering free shipping! :)

Add 200 dollars to that and it's yours!
Im taking offers of 1000.00 including shipping, as long as its w/in the United States.
The computer itself was 1099.00 new, plus 400 dollars worth of protection and software and honestly has been turned on maybe 10 times. Gotta at least get a little of my money back out of it! Let me know if you're interested! :)

When did you purchase your Macbook.
To my understanding, the earlier Macbooks had (or perhaps they still do) overheating problems, a "mooing" sound from the fan, and RSS (Random Shutdown Syndrome).

LOL I can definitely say it never Moo'd but I am curious to know what that sounds like. If the laptop is left sitting on a surface where the bottom can't "breathe" then after a certain time you can hear the fan cut on, but it's nothing out of the ordinary or what I would consider mooing lol... My reciept date is June 13, 2006. :) I haven't had any problems with it at all, and as previously stated if something were to arise, it would be fixed free of charge considering I spent an extra 250 on the applecare!!
