My Michelins delaminated while on the Beltway causing the rubber to just flake right off!! Looks like a retread truck tire!! Luckily I slowed the car to a quick stop but both rears are history.
Michelin is taking NO responsibility for this and offered ONLY $60.00 in compensation to replace my tires. This is something that a car with NO SPARE tire certainly doesn't need to happen. The customer service rep was rude and acted like they had no responsibility for their tire failure!!
I need two stock 18" or used aftermarket tires. I am selling the car to a friend out of town who has 19"s waiting for it so I just need rubber to make the trip. I will pay shipping if you have two laying around.
Call my cell and let me know if you can help me out since Michelin is sticking me in the A$$ on these.
