is there any prewiring done for this like for almost everything else?

cuz right now, i just have it spliced off the rear speakers and run through a cross over..... but im just wondering if there already is a line coming off the deck for a amp and subs......

you need a in line converter, like the sven4, it connects to the speaker level wires and changes the signal to rca so u plug the amp rcas into it, and theres an ignition turnon there as well.

i beileve theres a device that takes the cd changer plug and converts it to RCA's but there nothing in the car that has RCA's

hah i took it one step further and scratched my inline converter and splice RCA's right into the speaker wires! yeaa:mischief: which could make for a rather distorted signal but hey! who cares :excited:

why don't you care about the distorted signal?? i thought the whole point of upgrading your sound system is to improve the sound quality... :hmm:

nah, its not distorted. I was saying that in antcipation of people saying that it would be. Because of the lack of adjustabilty between the speaker signal and input signal. But it really does sound fine and you can make proper adjusments on your amp it self. All goofing off aside :P
