My finace has a 2003 X5 & we were aving issues with it this morning. Whe we started the car it Nav kept saying to wait a moment & then froze on that screen. We ejected the DVD & put it back in & then it kept saying to re-insert the DVD even though it was already in.
I'm not certain but it's either an mk3 or mk4 nav. Thi s happen to anyone before?

Try disconnecting the battery only after the Nav computer LED light is off. Wait 10-15 minutes and reconnect. See if that malfunction is cleared.
If the DVD is a copy then you will need to get an original DVD or a better copy.
For anything else... www.X5world.com :shhh:

Turn the car off, open hatch... some minutes later the Nav LED will go off. Then and only then disconnect battery.

What happens if you disconnect the battery before the light on the MK4 extinguishes? (ask me why I'm asking?) :slap:
Thanks-
