My friends and I joked back in highschool about doing this. I can't believe someone actually tried it

there was a video posted on here a while ago where they did that with a civic. it gave a pretty good hp gain, especially when they sprayed nitrous onto the leaf blower's intake.

won't be too useful lol? you're not going to drive around with a leaf blower attatched to your car even if does work lol

I particularly like the "speed rating" on the side, but you're going to need a really long extension cord for this to work.

That leaf blower would fit great in that stupid empty spot on the passenger side engine bay.

gawd those ricers are stupid. that unfiltered air has got to be "great" for the internals!! what does a leaf blower blow at?? maybe 40 mph.. your standard OEM intake is taking air in at the speed of your car, not 40 mph..
unbelievable!!! I'm thinking German engineering might know a little more about airflow than 2 rednecks driving a POS honda..

Hey We could fit a small leaf blower into that empty spot in our engine bay and route a hose to the intake and have some kind of remote start for that blower in the dash and wen its time to race get that extra kick!! :excited:
add some NOS and BAM!! kick it up a notch!!

What is with all this "i drive a bmw and therefore am allowed up on this high horse" bulls*t lately on this site :banghead:

The guys essentially are doing nothing different then putting a performance intake on their car.... I wouldn't do it to my car as I can't imagine its good for the car but for the love of god don't insult them for the marque of car they drive or the manner in which they use their spare time.... and, just for the record, you are spending your time on an internet blog... not exactly the coolest thing in the world either :tsk:
