M3 Style Gauge Face

After a long wait, we now have the M3 style gauge face - the direct replacement for the non-M3 OEM gauge face designed exclusively by Bimmian.

The gauges are accurately designed as well from the fuel consumption to the redline blocks to the fitment into the instrument cluster. Currently only available in MPH and grey tone, they are almost as easy to install as our gauge rings.

More photos will be posted after this weekend once I install it on my car.

Our introductory price of $75 + shipping will only last for a short while and quantities are limited.

Sorry... i have been extrememly busy here in the office and have not had a chance to install it in my car.

At present time, km/h is not yet available or the white face until there is further demand for the gauge face.

I believe they are made in Europe although I'm not in the purchasing department. Regardless, the quality, fitment and thickness is like OEM as I've done a side by side comparison.

Your pic is very confusing sir... the one that shows with lights OFF and ON, the 2 left ones are in KM/H and shows the redline breaking under 6K rpm (like what i got) and the 2 right one shows the light up 5.5K rpm light like on the M3 dash.

We wanted to give it a cleaner look which is why we had it designed without the kmh as a secondary.

In any event, if we truly get enough interest for the kmh version and white face for Mph and kmh, we may potentially get it done.

Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to ever make a gauge with the M logo because we do not own that trademark.

The way the original cluster was designed by BMW was to be KM only. On cars which are primarily KM, there are no MPH on the gauge, however, when exporting to MPH areas, they put both.

We chose to put MPH only because it represents BMWs original design. Once used to the clean, uncluttered look of MPH only, you will think that the MPH+KM looks too cluttered.

Regarding the OEM faces there are 3 types.
318/320/323/325 = Black Face, non italic
328/330 = dark grey face, italic
M3 = light grey face, new font, not italic, many little changes, ie. dots instead of lines, lines have rounded corners, etc.

Our gauge face incorporates all the styling cues found on the M3 cluster, but formatted for the regular 3.

My E46 is blacked out, except for the silver CF trim and these gauges--- adds a really nice constrast.

that because us early coupe owners already have grey faces. although these are lighter grey and the numerics sparse. for others it would be a bigger change

99% of the people in the US never drive outside of the US, so do not have need for KMs, so we took them off for a cleaner, euro look (the euro speedos dont have miles on them, KM only.

As i offred before, if we can get 20 guys in who put down a deposit on these, we can make whatever you want.

Ok, we will have a new version coming out soon. Without too much detail: they will have a different color background, miles + km, indicators at every 5mph/10kph, but no Unleaded fuel only. I think that most people would agree that they dont need this reminder.
