Hello everyone. Its that time of my life where i'm looking for more power. Instead of selling my little 323i i'm going FI. But i have no idea where to start. I'm looking for around 300+ rwhp. I can either go with the stage 2 technik kit or i can wait for the Twin Screw to Come out. Any ideas on power that the TX will have? What should i do buy the stage 2 or wait for the Twin Screw?

Do you have automatic or manual? That will determine the route you take

IMO if going FI these days it's Twin Screw or bust. I think peak hp levels between centrifugal and ts are rather similar but the torque curve that the TS produces cannot be denied.
I would imagine that a centrifugal SC will be more of a visceral experience than the ts, between the scream of the compressor, the sound of the bypass valve between shifts, and the continuous buildup of power and torque the closer to red line you get...

That just about sums it up.. unless you can get a centrifugal for 4000$ or less, go with the twin screw. Full boost @ low rpm =

Not trying to jack the thread (:shhh: ) but if he did have an automatic what route would be preferable?

Low boost TS or a centrifugal...the lower power numbers down low are easier on the transmission.

IMO from what I've seen and read ESS has won me over with their kit. That's not a knock on AA as they are well respected tuners and make quality products.
Check through both of the super long threads talking about AA's and then ESS' kits and decide for yourself. :)
