I am debating on whether I should get a Conforti Injector or a Dinan Chip. I also dont know a lot about either, so any comments on what to chose?

Since you have an '05, you're probably interested in keeping the warranty. Go with DINAN. I personally plan on getting AA or Shark because the revs are higher and I don't want to pay to get anything installed.

I haven't looked deeply into installation of this, but I know that Shark can be done with basic tools plus battery charger. DINAN wants their equipment installed at a retailer. I say that I'm not hands-on, but I did replace my whole interior of my 4Runner w/Limited interior in 4 hours with no previous experience. You have '05, protect your warranty.

Chances are a dealership will never find out that you're running aftermarket software. IF you are concerned about that well with the Shark injector you can re-upload your stock software to the car before going to the dealership.

FYI - there is no "chip" to replace it's software that's uploaded to "the cars computer."

FYI2 - Even though the Shark injector doesn't add a lot of horsepower (i.e. 2-3), it's still better than Dinan's 0.

what is the difference in the two?

Save your money as the cost vs performance upgrade is negligible. Use your money for something that you can feel. Like a differential swap. More money, but, you get your moneys worth.

Or, try a short shift kit if you have a manual.
